In Catalina, Finder took over the job of sharing files between Mac and iOS devices.
Problem: No Process Bar When Copying File
Before Catalina, it was iTunes that user use to transfer file to iPhone/iPad. And when so, a progress bar would show:
But in Catalina, there is no longer a progress bar on either on Mac or iPad. So, when you drag a file into your iPhone, you really don’t know whether it’s completed, or how long it would approximately take. Bad User Experience.
Proposed Solution
Add a progress bar to Finder when sharing files between Mac and iOS devices.
